Tape-measure math, done right.

Your phone's calculator chokes on 12' 6". Totient adds, subtracts and scales real measurements (feet, inches and fractions) and hands back the answer as a fraction. Built for the garage, the shop and the weekend project.

No account. No sign-up. Works with no signal.

One simple app

Everything you reach for, mid-cut.

No menus to dig through. The math you actually do on a job: measurements, areas, conversions, one tap away.

Metric & decimal, instantly

Every answer converts on the spot: decimal feet, inches, cm and metres. Tap any row to copy it for the order form or the text to your supplier.

Conversions sheet listing 16' 3-1/2" as 16.292 ft, 5.431 yd, 195.5 in, 496.6 cm and 4.966 m

Square feet & cubic feet

Multiply length × width and Totient flips to ft² on its own, then × height for ft³. Flooring, concrete, mulch and topsoil, sorted.

Area mode showing 12' × 10' = 120 ft²

Save it, copy it, reuse it

Keep the numbers that matter. Copy a result as a value or its full equation, or load any saved measurement straight back into the keypad to keep going.

History sheet listing saved results: 480 ft³, 120 ft² and 16' 3-1/2" with Use and copy buttons

Light or dark, your call

Bright on a sunny deck, easy on the eyes in a dim basement. Big, glove-friendly keys and a one-tap theme switch, built for real working light.

Questions, answered

The stuff you'd want to know before you download.

What can Totient do that my phone's calculator can't?

Real measurement math. Type 12' 6" plus 3' 9-1/2" and get 16' 3-1/2": feet, inches and fractions, added, subtracted and scaled, with the answer handed back as a fraction. A regular calculator only speaks decimals.

Do I need an account or a signal?

Neither. There's no sign-up and no login, and the whole app runs offline: basement, job site, the back of beyond, it doesn't matter. Open it and start measuring.

Does it handle metric?

Yes. Every result converts to centimetres and metres alongside decimal feet and inches, and you can paste a metric measurement in from anywhere. Imperial keypad entry with metric always a tap away.

How fine do the fractions go?

Down to a 64th. Pick your precision (1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 or 1/64) and the readout re-rounds live. Default is 1/16", the sweet spot for most woodworking and framing.

Is it really free? What's the catch?

No catch. The calculator is free, with no ads and no subscription. Down the road we'll add optional material calculators (paint, concrete, decking and the like) as a single one-time purchase. Never a subscription, and never a wall in front of the calculator you came for.

Which phones does it run on?

iPhone and Android, from the same clean app. Grab it from the App Store or Google Play using the buttons up top.

Privacy

Your numbers stay on your phone.

Totient is a calculator, not a data-collection business. There's nothing to log into, and the measurements you punch in stay on your phone. They're yours, not ours to collect.

Have a question about data? Get in touch. A full privacy policy will be linked here at launch.

No account needed

Nothing to log into and no profile to create. Open the app and start measuring.

Your numbers stay put

Measurements and saved results live on your phone, not our servers. Clear them any time.

Works offline

The whole calculator runs with no signal: basement, job site, the back of beyond.

No ads, no data sold

No ads in the calculator, and we never sell your personal information.
